I know this is an old thread but did u ever get an answer? I'm currently an NYS EMT-B and want to get my AEMT through a hybrid course that doesn't cross the 50% threshold. Unfortunately, there aren't any in-person A courses near me so it seems like I'm kinda out of luck.
