I dont think anyone really detaches themselves, they just learn how to handle and cope with the hard things. but i think its better to get emotionally involved and show you care

I would get really nervous also and rush, i know how you feel! Just focus on speaking slowly...that helped me. The medical and trauma assesments have alot of similar steps, make sure you know those steps and half the trouble is done.

My goal is to be a nurse, but I'm also interested in being a Paramedic too, so I was thinking of maybe doing a RN to Paramedic program. What do you guys know about those programs? What colleges offer it? advice? :)

well im always reviewing my book and im confident on the information. but there seems to be questions that pop up that iv never even heard of, like what "penman" stands for or TIA

I just got my emt certification about a month ago. iv had interviews with Care, Lynch, and Americare...no luck. Does anyone have any tips for doing well on the written test portion, seems to be where i mess up! Thanks! :)
