Does anyone know how their pay is determined? Do they look at hospital and EMS experience? I am moving up to Fresno next month and am curious if the pay is going to be decent for an EMT! Thanks!

I currently work for RSI/Medic-1 as an EMT, and I haven't heard of anything recent about care buying us out. I know they did offer a year or two ago to buy out the company, but as of right now RSI is staying on its feet.

Ummm to increase your chances, theres nothing I can really say for that one. But it not true, they do not care if you have experience or do not have experience. Some of our guys are brand new or they have been with other IFT companies and have experience.
