In my personal opinion, I wouldnt recommend taking the Paramedic to RN route. I recommend doing nursing school from the start, beginning with Pre-Nursing. This is a much different ballgame. The programs are much more formal than most paramedic programs and require a lot more time and effort. However, they will prepare you to work in a variety of situations. I am getting ready to enter semester 2 at Vanderbilt for my Acute Care Nurse Practitioner license. I will be taking Case Western Reserve University's flight nursing subspecialty course this summer in Ohio as well. There is always room to expand.
