Good idea to use the class textbook to study for NREMT?
My college gave us this book: http://www.amazon.com/EMT-Basic-Review-Manual-National-Certification/dp/0763744662/ref=pd_sim_b_7 And I studied that the 2 days before my test and I passed.- Cohn

Beginning EMT class soon
I don't know about where you live or what they allow you to do. But my Base Hospital allows us to do them with a class of course because of how rural we are and our situation.- Cohn

I seen the First Responder book and obviously the EMT book and they are the same except drugs are added into the EMT book, no biggie. Actually my first responder class was done with the EMT book ha ha!- Cohn
