I'm interested in becoming an EMT-B next year. My ultimate goal is to go into a BSN program (and eventually an MSN, but that's another story), but I'd like to experience as many different facets of the Healthcare/EMS fields that I can, so I know exactly where within that I want to work in. I volunteered at a hospital, I'm currently a medical records clerk, my sister and are on track to receive our CNA licenses this summer, et cetera. I'm interested in working as an EMT-B while I'm in college. I'm still a junior in high school (a senior in a couple of weeks), and the State of Washington (my state) requires you to be 18 before you start an EMT-B course. But I like to plan ahead, and I'd like to be able to be looking for a place to take a course.
Any advice of where to look?
