I took this amazing picture this morning, and just wanted to share it with everyone.

We took my son to Great Wolf Lodge in Sandusky, OH for Spring Break and decided to check out Marblehead Lighthouse while we were up here. It is the oldest lighthouse in continuous operation on the Great Lakes. I got alot of wonderful family pics, but thought all of you would enjoy the beauty of this one of the lighthouse.

Well, I know you are hitting Ceder Point! Right?

Actually, no, not this time. I don't think it is open durring the week yet. Just hanging out at the indoor water parks this time around.,

Stay for the weekend. You cannot go to Sandusky and not go to Ceder Point! I miss going there. Been ages since I have been up there. Have fun either way!

So weird to have a lake whose opposite shore is under the horizon.

Closest I ever got was Alpena, and I stayed on base..

Careful, those rocks are slippery when wet. Ask my knees

Those are my old stomping grounds. The lake is the only thing I really miss about Ohio.

And Cedar Point is amazing. Had season passes for years and went at least once a week on my summer breaks. Then I grew up and it ruined everything.

That's the smell drifting across the lake! :)

Ditto.. I loved going to Cedar Point back when I lived in Michigan... it was so great being only 3 hours away.

Now I live in DFW... we have Six Flags, but it's seriously 1/4 the size and the rides are mini-ripoffs of Cedar Point rides.

I've got pictures of this very lighthouse around here somewhere, but I was last there when I was 6, so I think they were still using candles for the light. I grew up 45 minutes away from Cedar Point (in Lakewood), so I practically lived there in the summer. Great memories...
