I live in oakland and had been planning on attending the Merritt college emtb program this summer as I had read somewhere that it was a well regarded program among east bay schools, by when I looked at NREMT pass rates Merritt college is mediocre at best with other colleges scoring much higher as far as pass rates, Los positas college for example had a 94% first time pass rate the same year that Merritt had a 64%. My question I guess is double faceted, how much stock should I put into past year national registry pass rates, and which, in your opinion, is the best EMT b program in the east bay?
