Where can i get EMT training other then at college?

Hi, Ive been looking into becoming an emt ( obviously ) and have only heard about courses offered at community colleges and what not. I rather take the course somewhere else so that i can continue to go to school. Im sure there are other threads like this but i had trouble finding them. im not sure if this helps any but i live in manhattan.

I would still check out your community colleges, they might have night classes you can take. This will be better than trying to go through a medic mill or taking an online course.
 
If you don't mind volunteering in Suffolk County, you can take an agency-sponsored EMT course for free. The same may be true in Nassau County -- I'm not sure.
