I have been trying to get my captain to set up some kind of schedule for a month at a time for our squad. We are a very small squad but sometimes we have alot of calls. Currently we have five ridding EMT's and three ini class. I would have to say four out of the five are two years or less in field EMT's. We currently had one burn out, so is taking place. Everytime we bring up a scheduling my captains says he can't commit himself like that. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas how to get him to see what he is doing. I think if we atleast have a monthly schedule for the nights and weekends it might be better for us all. During the day it is a fly by thing unfortunetly, if we have a crew, we crew, if not AMA (Automatic Mutal Aid) falls into to place, the paid service 25 minutes away. So any help would be great.
