Violent Saskatchewan mob attacks medics, police

A crowd of 50 to 70 people in the small northern town of La Loche, Sask., left a trail of destruction on Friday, storming a hospital, burning a police truck and attacking RCMP officers and paramedics.

Unlike the USA here in Canada the military can perform civil policing when requested by civil authorities. To deal with all those gang members we should send in the RCR or the PPCLI or JTF2. Can you picture the look on these gang members when a C7 or C* is jammed in their face by a CF member. These gang members are they from Redd Alert or are they another gang altogether..

State officials can call in National Guard if law enforcement is overwhelmed.

Here in Canada we do not have a Posse Commitatus Act. Our military can do civilian enforcement at the request of the government. So send in the PPCLI with maybe the Lord Strathcona Light Horse providing armoured support
