As far as I know, AMR doesn't hold the 911 contract for Vegas. I think that falls to... king ambulance, or something like that. I've looked at their website, since I've considered heading out that way once I'm out of medic class, and I've got to say that they've got it goooooood. If I remember right, they've got 30+ 911 trucks- yes, just 911 trucks, as well as their own dispatchers, good facilities for their crews, and employees that are there JUST for checking and re-stocking the trucks.
As far as wages go, I think a medic earn 17 an hour, if I remember right. Google, the all-knowing, is your friend.
