Well I went and took my state exam today.. 150 questions.. they give 2 and 1/2 hours to take it.. I thought it was easy so hope I did good lol.. Took me about an hour and a half to complete.. Now to just await my results.. anyone know about how long it takes for results?

No clue. I took the NR and found out the next business day.
haha i wish i would find out that soon. Called a few places today and they said come put my app in as soon as i get my license because they are needing good basics.. dont want to wait a month or more.. thought i had read on here at some point that it would take a week to ten days and i was hoping thats all it would be..

IL is known for standardized testing that's clumsy, inefficient, and prone to corruption in other areas. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that other states get quicker results.
I'm only a few weeks into my EMT-B class, and trying to figure out whether I want to take the IL state test or NREMT when I'm done. I have no immediate plans to move out of state in the next few years, but I've always had this little dream of moving to Tennessee or Texas or maybe just Kentucky . . . . EMS is a volunteer thing for me right now, but I might want to make the transition to career later on. Who knows?
