I thought I would share this information in case anyone was interested. You go to user CP then "ignore list" then type in the name of the user you wish to ignore. I have included a screen shot below as an example.
This is how you ignore someone

Ignoring any user is fine. Posting about it is not fine. Rule #1 is Be Nice. So go forth and Be Nice.
