I've been attending EMT school for the last few months and I've found this forum very useful and entertaining. If all goes well I'll be licensed within 30 days and I've been scouting out job oppurtunities. What the hell does 'PRN' mean in relation to an EMT job?

I once had a medicine where it said take one pill twice a day but I didn't need it every day. The doc said "then take it PRN".
