Hello all,

I hope this is the correct forum to ask this question in. I'm currently a Virginia EMT Enhanced and will be finishing my NREMT-Intermediate in about a month. I have some opportunities to go work in Tennessee to be closer to family. I am familiar with the Tennessee state levels and am aware that they don't recognize Intermediates, but am wondering if anyone in Tenn. or with knowledge of their office of EMS could give me some info on the possibility of taking an I-99 to NREMT-P bridge. Ive been given some conflicting info, originally I just assumed I'd have to start over but was told that I to P classes may still exsist.

Would I have to take an Advanced (or "IV")-Paramedic bridge or do I have some better options? Thank you

I've been an EMT-IV in TN for several years and I haven't seen an I-P class. TN isn't really sure what they are doing right now with the new licensing levels. My advice is take an I-P class elsewhere and reciprocate in.
