Teex texas a&m paramedic program

How is this program? I notice it is much shorter than other paramedic programs. Is it respected amongst agencies? Thanks
 
Terrible program, low pass rates. Very much a medic mill. Stay away.

Is it really? Never would have thought that. Just thinking that Task Force is there and the budget of the TEEX, made me seem its a solid program. They're doing something wrong.

They push people through fast, and leave them to their own devices. I've known five guys to go through there, and only one passed. None of them were a fan of the program, and said most of their class failed. I've even heard very mixed opinions of the TEEX Fire Academy.
 
I would not consider TEEX to be viable unless you have some sort of lapsed cert or RN training or something and you "just need the card" for medical. For Fire, I would say it's decent for people who need a fire cert to get hired as a medic/ff.
 
Echoing everyone else, stay away. Their pass rates are always among the lowest in the state, usually low 50%.
