Hey folks. I'll be talking to a medic class about endocrine emergencies in a few days. Besides the basics of diabetes, as well as thyroid and adrenal emergencies, I'm going to emphasize a few topics. In particular, I'll spend some time on the pitfalls of signing off a hypoglycemic patient, as well as the new adrenal crisis protocols that many places have.

Are there topics that anybody thinks should be addressed in more detail, or get a special emphasis? Or you wish someone had just told you, rather than having to figure it out on your own? I have 4 hours, so there's time aplenty.

Just about endo stuff, mind you!
