Ok I am going to NOLS for my EMT and WEMT very shortly.
I will finish reading the JB Learning "Emergency and care of transportation of the Sick and Injured" today. (1500 pages err)

Completed all the Reviews at the end of each chapter.
On answering the question i marked the correct answer and noted next to each wrong answer why it is the wrong one.

I also the supplemental test on JB Learning web site for the book.

Currently trying to study the all the vocabulary.
Any other suggestions before attending class?

Get a college level A&P book. A solid understanding of what body systems you're dealing with along with the underlying physiology will make you a better provider.

Get ready for a crazy course. It's a month long course but you really only have 15 days of instruction.

Just remember it is one of the best courses in the country. I think they have a ~90% rate of passing the NREMT first try. If you pay attention in class, work on skills and spend time reviewing in your free time (ha!) you will be fine.

It's a good course that gets helps make good EMTs that can think for themselves. The wilderness stuff makes it really fun.

Keep doing JB Learning. It's the shizz...
