So I just received my pass letter from my state practical. My class ended in august and I was thinking of taking the written sometime this weekend. It's 70+ passing I believe. Should I have a hardcore review session or hit it cold turkey? I mean I remember almost all the class, unless the MA written is ridiculous. How was the test? Or the state writtens in general.

CA uses the NREMT cert as a replacement for the State Exam. I would suggest a light review. If you're comfortable with your knowledge you shouldn't have a problem. especially if the line is drawn at 70%. Good luck!

Do a light review. I just took mine not too long ago coming out of the same timing for class. Where did you go? Mine was NSCC. I did a light review and passed. It is a 70 for a passing score.

A couple of tips, many of the questions are poorly worded so take your time going through all the questions. You have plenty of time. Also there are some questions where every answer is a right answer and they are looking for the best one. Just remember the order in which to do things, I.E. Scene safety/BSI, ABCs...Ect...

I think you should just go over your notes. You dont need to spend hours studying if you know your stuff.
