I was in a simulation class two weeks ago, and we went and did a scenario with the Laerdal Simbaby presenting with vfib.
When we shocked the infant -- to my horror and surprise -- the manikin actually "jumped" when the shock was delivered!
What an interesting design feature, and for me unexpected after the many years working with lifeless plastic manikins. Does anyone know if the rest of the Laerdal Simman/Simman 3G or METI simulators "jump" when shocked as well?
