Seeking retired ambulance

Good day!

Do you know something about what happens to retired ambulance vehicles near the DC region? I'm in northern Virginia.

I think I'd like to purchase a retired ambulance -- can you help me find resources?

(I hope all lights, equipment, labels, etc. are removed, but if they aren't, I'll make sure it's done before I start driving it! )

Be very very careful. If it's a bargain it's not safe. What is the vehicle's final use?

Sometimes Montgomery County, MD (very close to northern Va.) has some old ambulances on Govdeals, doesn't look like they have anything at the moment though.)
