HICKMAN, Neb. -- The Hickman Rural Fire District can't send emergency response technicians to any emergencies until it gets a paperwork issue cleared up with the state of Nebraska.
The EMTs apparently haven't been properly licensed for seven years, although the error has just come to light. The state has told Hickman to cease and desist until the paperwork snafu is cleared.
