I am looking for information on knoxville R/M.
I currently work for them out in Seattle But am moving to the Knoxville area and cant seem to get any info. I am a EMT right now about to start medic school, so all the info i can get would be great.

Questions:

Pay for 3 years with company as a medic and Emt?

Are they union?

Whats the morale like there?

Is it a good company out there or is there better in area to look for?

Is it 911 system?

Are the shifts 24hr or 12hr.

pretty much any advice and help would be amazing.
feel free to pm me also. If you work for metro than you probably understand my frustration.

Wouldn't your HR be able to contact them for a transfer?

They are Knox County's primary EMS provider so yes they are in a 911 system. They are basically the largest ambulance service in this area. Shifts are 12 hours and I'm not sure if they're union. I think they are currently hiring for emt and paramedics and the morale is basically like any other EMS service. Only bad thing is there are no stations so you're pretty much posted for 12 hours. Hope this helps!:)
