sorry i wasnt sure where i should post this but oh well

i really want to do some ride alongs this summer so i can see first hand what ill be training to do...but i dont know how to go about getting in touch with someone who can let me do a ride along and i dont know if anywhere in central ohio allows them.

if you have any info or if you know how to go about getting to do a ride allong that would be great

Walk down to your local agency and ask! That's all you can do.

Buy a scanner, roof lights and some cool boots and just respond yourself.

Type EMS or Emergency Medical in Google Maps followed by your zip code. It took me awhile to find an organization that had the proper (sign your life away) paperwork for a ride-along, though I'm in rural FL. Google is your friend.

some agencies may require you to be at least pro rescuer cpr certified also some courses may require this as a prerequisite-so you may want to do that as well. But yeah the only thing you can really do is get on the phone and talk to someone.

A lot of county or city systems allow for citizen ride alongs. You just need to call and ask.

it says your a student, be carefully doing a ride along while u are a student, ask your instructor first before doing anything. If you are not a student yet, than forget what i just said.
