The situation:
Retired, but have been a medic since 1980. Certified in Florida (where I spent most of my career) and Montana. About two years ago I got Montana reciprocity (surprisingly easy) as I have potential to need it but haven’t yet. Montana is coming up for renewal and, as best as I can tell, there is a medical director approved "continued competency” certificate required. I don’t think it has to be in Montana. The Montana rules references NREMT but i do not have NR.
I emailed the state EMS office but have not heard back.
Any ideas on how to accomplish this? I am willing to travel/meet/test/whatever to meet this requirement.
