Rescue Squad Formation

I'm looking for anyone who has experience forming or being involved in the formation of a volunteer rescue squad in the state of South Carolina. Thinking of beginning the research process on this to present to city council. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I do understand some of the logistical issues and monetary issues involved in this but am always willing to learn more. Feel free to post on here or PM me.
