Re-certifying in NJ, questions

Hey Everyone!

I was certified as an EMT-B in New Jersey in 2008. It expired in 2011 and now I am looking to get back in the game. What steps do I have to take? I've heard that its just a matter of taking a refresher course and retaking the test, but I know some things have changed in the past few years.

Note: I know nothing about EMS in NJ. My only qualification is that I use google.

Unfortunately you will have to retake the EMT course. The only way around this, would be if you are NREMT certified or certified by another state.

Hopefully you found your answer as this was from a few weeks ago but you were right, you just have to take the 3 part refresher course (8 hrs each) and then you can retest.
