Question on NY EMT State Exam

Good Morning to all,

I recently took the NY EMT- B state exam about 3 weeks ago and I didn't receive anything yet. I was just wondering if that means I passed. I have heard from people that if the results didn't come in 2 weeks that means you passed.

Does anyone know if this is true?

I'm from NJ, we could see our scores online.. It took a couple weeks I think.. I applied for NY reciprocity a while ago and haven't gotten anything in the mail yet, I think they're just slow in the state office
 
When I took the EMT-CC refresher exam in May, it took between 5-6 weeks for my new card to show up. Be patient. Some months seem to have quicker turnaround times, probably based on the amount of students testing and available staffing in the DOH at the moment.

How was the exam? Mostly protocol or book based?
