Pre-Employment Tests

Does anyone know if these things are based on actual standardized literature (i.e. textbooks, practice test/review manuals, etc.)? Because some of the ones I've taken seem more like they were written by just some guy and what he thinks are the correct answers.

YUP!!! When I took the test at an ambulance company in LA I told you in PM that I almost moved to, they had some questions on pathophysiology (on the EMT test of all things) that showed to me the in house writer did not grasp what he was talking about. I gave the answer I knew they were looking for (kinda like a "lidocaine numbs the heart").
