I thought some of you might find this call out interesting to read about, especially for those that are flight medic's or want to be's, out there.

It happened in our region on Monday this week.
Hats off to both the Advanced paramedic's that attended it.
One being the Ambulance operations manager for our district and the other an English trained paremedic and ex-clinical training manager.
Not an easy callout to deal with I must say.

Any first responder who might respond to a general aviation or helicopter accident should review the following safety training from the FAA. As passenger safety technology improves, new hazards are being introduced to EMS responders, such as seat-belt deployed airbags and ballistic parachute systems.

Be safe out there!
