I am observing a trauma center in Philadelphia and i do not live in Pennsylvania. Could someone explain to me their 911 ems system. Public or Private? FD ambulances or separate? Thanks

911 calls are handled by the Philadelphia Fire Service ambulances, which are manned by city employed Paramedics. No 3rd parties or FF/Medics.
