I passed the NY State Board EMT-B Exam with an 81. I know that I have to get my feet wet before I go to 911 so I'm going to start at an IFT. What is the best IFT company to work for? Or what are the pros and cons of some companies here in NYC.
Don't forget about volunteer opportunities, they will look great specially if you can show that you "got your feet wet" with medical and trauma experience. IFT is not bad if you are looking for a paycheck and to get really good at taking vitals but nothing beats straight-up emergency experience, especially if 911 is your goal.
