Christopher Doyle says he can't remember the Tuesday afternoon crash, but he's glad to be alive.
Authorities say the ambulance was making a left turn at a Fort Pierce intersection when 63-year-old Germaine Lindor entered the intersection and hit the passenger side of the ambulance.

Sounds like she either had a medical emergency of her own (perhaps a diabetic episode?) or she did it on purpose. 90mph in a 45? Not slowing down? Too much, IMO, to be accidental.

I was thinking the same.

to bad for the medic, hope they have some kind of disability insurance

Out of curiousity, would a person with a prosthetic below the knee be unable to get a job as a medic? I can see how it could be career ending, but if he really wanted to he could get back on the streets, right?

Probably... there's that old cops episode of the police officer with the prosthetic leg in foot pursuit or a fight. Think it was below knee, though?

Yeah, I remember that; When he catches the guy that tried to run he says something to the tune of "Thought you could get away from the guy with one leg, eh?"
