Medical error. Surgeons are human (despite what they might think). Sad case. Seemed like a stand up guy.

1. There was bloodwork done that was never reviewed prior to surgery that would have negated the need for surgery at all.

2. During a tumor biopsy, healthy tissue was cut into, causing bleeding.

The "surgeons are human" argument MIGHT hold water if #1 hadn't happened. They never should have been in his head in the first place. That was a grade A screwup that caused devastating results on this man's life. I call that gross incompetence. Someone needs to fry.
