Out of state licensure

So, Have my EMT-B in MA. found a community college a couple hours away in NY that does medic, with the option to bunk at a fire house for 36 hours community service each week. Not a problem...but I need to get my EMT-B in NY. Which I dont have. How can I go about this process?
