I feel like these type of apps will cause freelancers and Wahoos to start crashing their cars on the way to be big time heroes.

I live in Oregon and within the area that PulsePoint covers. I was surprised that one of the largest fire departments here partnered with PulsePoint. I did download the app just to see what its about. While I applaud the developer for his good intentions I agree that it will bring out the Ricky Rescue's. I think the guy who develop it is a former firefighter in CA. Anyways I think having more lay people trained in CPR and increased access to AED's is a better route than this app.
