I got certified as an EMT-B with an online school. Of course we had to do clinical and skills on site, so it was really a hybrid. Anyway, I really liked the experience since I have a job and kids it was the only way to get the study done. Does anyone know of a Texas based online paramedic course? I want to upgrade my education.

PERCOM is based out of the SECOND largest state. Lenoir community college also has a decent online paramedic program for an amazing price out of North Carolina and probably has clinicals in Texas.

I did PERCOM and had a pretty good experience with them. I just finished RN school, and I also have a BA. The educational rigor of PERCOM was comparable to the aforementioned. Many distance Medic programs have clamped down on out of state clinical rotations because of accreditation requirements.
Take a hard look at PERCOM. They are based in Texas and had a good number of clinical options when I went through several years ago. Just know that online does not equal easy with PERCOM. You will work and be challenged. It is not an easy program but it was worth it.
