Online Bachelors in Science degrees

Hey all,

Many people have asked about the necessity of a 4-year degree for the fire service which can certainly be debated, however, I am wondering if anyone here knows about online 4-year degrees in fire service related fields. I know Cogswell Polytechnical and Colorado State University both have accredited 4-year B.S. degree programs and am wondering if anyone knows of others or has possibly taken any of the courses these two schools offer?

I really have no idea about the fire service, but in my signature is a link to EMS BS degree's.

I am doing a bs in public safety. It is all online and geared toward those already working in fire, ems and Leo.

OP, whether it is fire or EMS, until you have taken advice about this from a graduate, or you complete the school yourself, it is not apparent what can be opened up for you once you get past the "paper hat" level of service.

Line guys and ladies are ESSENTIAL and the backbone of public service, but the better informed and oriented they are the better it gets for all.

It becomes more than a job, it becomes a career.
