Last night I had my state skills assessment and somehow I managed to pass. A couple of preceptors got a call and had to leave so they decided we were going to do trauma and medical assessments in one sitting. I finally got in for mine and went totally blank. LOL It took me a minute to get myself together but somehow I pulled through it and passed the assessments and the other skills we tested on. Now I'm just waiting for my NREMT app to get verified and then I'm taking that test as soon as possible.
Anyway, sorry to brag... I'm just glad it's over for a little while. I felt like an idiot when I went blank though... I really hope I wasn't the only one last night who did. I've got a couple of classes I need to take before I start medic but I will be starting that next fall. Maybe I should just consider this next year a coffee break.
P.S. I kindda lied, it's more like two to go. Gotta take EVOC tomorrow.
