Observer shift in NYC

Hey all,

I am an Australian paramedic coming to NYC for a few weeks in Oct this year. I would love to be able to jump on board for an observer shift while I am there and see how your system works as it seems to be so different from ours here in Melbourne. Happy to do either a day or night shift.

Who do I contact to organise this? Do you think it will be possible?

FDNY most likely won't do this. You could try some of the private companies that are part of the city's 911 system. North Shore LIJ, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Jamaica Hospital Queens, Wyckoff Hospital, and New York Hospital Queens all have units in the 911 system.
