NuMask Ventilation

Has anyone seen or used the Mask and Airway combo called NuMask? I am concerned with suctioning ability and size of the OPA in relation to supporting the tongue. Check it out if you want at NuMask.com, I just wanted to see what more seasoned medics thought of it before placing my own opinions on paper. Thanks

When I see "One Size Seals All" on any resuscitation product, I feel less inclined to believe it so.

Long time lurker, first time poster...

I've used the Numask a few times. I can't say whether it is truly a one-size-seals all or not, but it does create a pretty sweet seal in a variety of patients. I have ventilated both toothless and bearded patients with it just fine. The OPA seemed to work okay.

I asked someone with the company the suctioning question too. I was told that it is possible to suction through the stem of the numask, but to use my best judgment (i.e. if vomitous consists of large chunks, then remove the mask). It seems like this would work, but I have not tried it yet.
