Hi all,

I'm David. I'm an older guy 43 y/o to be exact and am changing directions in my career path. I graduated from EMT-B last year and really didn't look for work until recently. I've been doing vollunteer work in Mexico with a rescue outfit here. It's pretty interesting work.

I just got hired by Medfleet in Spring Valley, Ca. Not really sure what to expect from the job or the company. I was told they do alot of interfacility transfers and dialysis patients.

As an EMT-B, I am gathering that I'm just going to be moving patients around. Is this going to help me in the future with my career? What should I expect from this type of work. I am scheduled to start Paramedic school with NCTI in Riverside in January 2013. I was hoping to pick up some experience while I was going to school.

Anyhow, all comments and input would be appreciated.

Thanks,
David
