Just a quick intro. Not an EMT but volunteered five years with Phoenix Fire Dept's AR program and rode the crisis wagons with a volunteer EMT. Also worked mobile crisis in Phoenix and walk-in crisis in Phoenix as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Now manage our rural detox unit in Page, Arizona and manage EMTs.

Looking to understand EMT life better - particularly as it relates to alcohoics and drug addicts we both deal with.

And, from time to time may be able to offer EMT positions up here in the Arizona Canyonlands.

Looking forward to possibly learning more from you and your aspect of the EMS field. I am in Phoenix and briefly considered volunteering with PFD or Tempe Fire's Crisis Units. I am still in my early stages of EMS but hopefully with some of the things I have learned I may be of assistance to you as well!
