Hello fellow EMS lovers!!!
My name is Matt Wilder I am 21 and I am a NREMT-B but I have been to Paramedic school, but because of the way clincals fell (during summer sessions) I had to drop from the program, but good news is while in school I had a 4.0. But anywho I have been a basic for almost 3 years now. I have been trying to get a job either on a service or a fire department but my age has kept me back. But my spirits are high I got accepted into Nursing school which I am currently attending and so i moved to a different town and I am about to join a fire department as well as work for the county EMS so it will all work out. My ultimate dream is to get my CCNREMT-P, CCRN and work on a med flight somewhere!!! well as my name shows I have a jeep, it is a wrangler, with a soft top so duing the summer months it has no doors and the top is off and I LOVE IT. Another thing I enjoy is diving, I am working on my stress and rescue and search and recovery as well as swift water, so I can be a big asset to a department someday. Also anther thing is I am a ground team medic for a seach and rescue team called the CIVIL AIR PATROL !!!! I think that is most of me at this time!!!! It will be nice to meet and talk with other EMS people so I have a feeling I will enjoy this forum!!!
