I’m about to start my last semester of paramedic school in Maine, I’ve been on a student visa for the last 3 semesters. During that time I’ve really come to enjoy the dual purpose services in the area. One of the services is doing a fire academy and they have accepted me into it. So come may ill be ready for fire/paramedic. I’ve already reached out to the state board about reciprocity for my current AEMT license, going through that process now. Wondering if anyone has any insight on work permits or options for green cards programs for fire/ems.
