I'm from Hawaii and taking my Prerequisite for my college EMT program at my local community college. And I did some research on the job opportunity down here and found that its very competitive. I've been looking at California career outlook and it looks pretty good. Lots of opening and job opportunity. What my realy main question is, is should I do my EMT/PARAMEDIC training down here in hawaii or should I do it up in California. I heard of some states require you to start all over as an EMT even tho you have your Paramedic certification. And Hawaii is one of them. If I were to go from Hawaii to California would it be the same?
