I'm wanting to become an EMT but I couldn't get into the EMT-B program at my community college because of overcrowding and everything. I heard about the CIEMT program and I am seriously considering taking that instead of waiting till fall semester to reapply. Is this a good program to go into or should I just wait till the fall and try again at my community college?

What is the CIEMT? Have any links about it?

here's their homepage

ciemt.com

sorry that its not a link, it says i need at least five posts before i can post a link:sad:

Look for other options in your local community. Your town may be too small but mine had several private options.

"The program is intended for those who want to gain employment as a firefighter, emergency care technician at a hospital and Ambulance driver or attendant."

Really? Ambulance driver?

Just wait until you can get into your CC's program or find another CC with an EMT-B program in your area.
