I understand that work as an WEMT strictly isn't as common as we might hope. But it would be nice to hear of some people who have had success finding work through a national park or something like that.

Or if anyone has any good resources for finding potential employment oppurtunities?

all appreciated.

I know quite a few actually that work up in noreastern canada, they run the 911 calls for the little local town/village and are responsible for the 911 in the provincial parks. As well as rescues and extractions. Sometimes it gets pretty remote out there and you cannot chopper in. The ones I know also teach first aid at the local summer camps as well as more advanced stuff for the canoe/hiking leaders.
