job app logistics - nremt, county

hi all,
i'm a bit new here and so i apologize if this is a repeated question; i wasn't able to find any info on the internet.
i was wondering about the job application process as a recently cert emt-b.
i passed my nremt a couple weeks ago and submitted my app for my county last week.
i was just wondering whether i needed to wait for my county cert to come in (is that how it works?) before i could start applying for jobs.

Wait until you have all of the required certs before applying for the job.

California only You'll also need to get a medical examiner cert (DL 51) and ambulance driver certificate. (read more)

thanks for the help. i was wondering, is there any way to track my LA county app ? or will i just have to wait for the 3-4 weeks for my approval to come in?
